"Kweli 10"

While our friends were visiting from France, we went to Haller Park which is a small private zoo near Mombasa. In the space of 30 minutes, I saw three things I’d never seen before – 1) a hippo poop which doesn’t sound like much but is pretty impressive since it exits the body with such force that it sprays everywhere and flaps the tail around like a flag, 2) a monitor lizard whipping a cape buffalo in the face with its sharp, powerful tail as they both ate from the same pile of kibble 3) a monkey who managed to get his pee-pee in his mouth….
