We are starting a new subsection of our blog called Kweli. As you may have noticed, our blogging has waned, but our adventures continue. Kweli, which means ‘true’ in Kiswahili, will allow us to share little daily glimpses into our life in Africa. We realized that many of the things we see on a day-to-day basis have become ordinary to us now, but are actually very EXTRA-ordinary.
Today, as I was driving to work, a cow ran across the road in front of the car, head-butted a guy off of his bike, and kept going (the cow, that is)...
…As soon as I stopped to see if the biker was OK, people started to gather around to see what happened (its amazing how fast spectators assemble for anything!) and they thought I had hit him with my car! I had to get out of there fast…
